Ergonomics for Editors
Editors spend a lot of time—often, far too much time—sitting at their desks and staring at computer screens. How can we modify our workspaces and processes to minimize the negative effects of this occupational hazard?
Join Editors BC programming co-chairs Mahima and Judith for a collaborative and practical session on ergonomics. We’ll provide some research-backed tips and we look forward to learning what has worked for you: your favourite hacks, office set-ups, apps, or small changes that have made a positive difference. What tips have helped improve your productivity and reduced long hours of sitting? Or if you have a “what not to do” lesson, share that too so we can avoid making those same mistakes.
